Old bones.
New frocks.
We take tired, unloved furniture — yours or ours — and dress it up in fresh paint, proper fabric and better hardware. Same good bones underneath. Nobody has to know how old it really is.
The Face
Four pieces, freshly done up.
Tap a tag to see what it used to be. Everything here started out somebody's cast-off — a bit wobbly, a bit dated, a bit much. It isn't anymore.
Never underestimate a woman in a good belt.
She doesn't do the sanding. She doesn't do the sourcing. She turns up at the end, puts the sunglasses on, and takes all the credit — which, frankly, is the whole point of getting dressed up.
Every piece leaves branded.
Underneath, out of sight, each piece gets the same stamp burned into the wood — proof it went through the whole process, not just a coat of paint over the top.
Not just a receipt. An Originality Card.
Every piece leaves the workshop with its own hang tag: when it was originally made, and when we got our hands on it. Proof of provenance, not just a fresh coat of paint over a stranger's furniture.
Think of it as the sheep's passport — mutton on one side, lamb on the other.
The full outfit change, in four steps.
Every piece goes through the same process, in the same order. It's the order that makes the difference.
Scout & Strip
We collect your piece — or find one of our own — and strip it back to bare bones. Old paint, tired fabric, wonky hardware, all gone.
Sand & Mend
Every wobble tightened, every crack filled, every surface sanded smooth. No shortcuts, no gloss over the gaps.
Dress
Paint, stain, reupholster, new hardware — the actual outfit change. This is where the personality goes on.
Deliver
Wrapped and delivered, ready to walk into your room looking like it never spent a decade in a garage.
Merch. Made to accompany the main event.
For people who take their furniture more seriously than their actual wardrobe. Small batch, made alongside the pieces themselves.
Don't want it? Donate it.
If you'd rather hand a piece over than sell it, we'll take it off your hands — no charge, no questions. When we resell it once it's done up, 20% of the profit goes straight to charity.
Same process, same care. Just a kinder ending for the piece you can't quite keep.
Got something in the attic that needs a word with itself?
Send us a photo of the piece you can't quite throw out. We'll tell you honestly whether it's worth dressing up, and what it might look like once we're done.
What people say after the reveal.
"It went into their van looking like a skip find and came back looking like it belonged in a catalogue."
"My nan's sideboard has never had this much attention paid to it. Not even by my nan."
"Genuinely didn't recognise my own chair. Had to check the tag to believe it."
